Cookie Policy

Last Updated: November 2026. Clear and honest disclosures on cookies, local storage, and user preferences.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) by web browsers when you visit a website. They are typically used to remember user preferences, facilitate logins, or analyze browsing trends.

2. Our Approach: Zero Tracking Cookies by Default

Unlike many commercial websites, CSSCraft currently does not set or use any non-essential cookies or third-party tracking beacons. We do not track your behavior across other web destinations, nor do we employ aggressive user tracking.

Because we do not deploy invasive or tracking cookies, we do not bother you with a fake or decorative cookie banner that disrupts your design workflow.

3. Local Storage vs. Cookies

Instead of storing preferences in cookies transmitted on every HTTP header, we use modern client-side HTML5 localStorage solely for your interface customization:

  • Theme Preference: The key csscraft_theme stores your toggle state ("dark" or "light") so that your preferred appearance is remembered when you navigate between pages.

This value stays exclusively in your local browser sandbox and is never transmitted over the network.

4. Future Advertising & Analytics Cookies

CSSCraft is architected for potential future integration with advertising networks such as Google AdSense. In the event that advertising or analytics providers are activated, those services may utilize third-party cookies to serve contextually relevant ads or aggregate traffic statistics. If and when activated, CSSCraft will introduce a compliant consent management mechanism that allows users to accept or decline non-essential cookies.

5. Managing & Clearing Browser Storage

You can manage or clear your browser's stored cookies and local storage items at any time through your browser's settings:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Delete browsing data
  • Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
